Dental Crowns & Dental Bridges
Bridges can provide a natural-looking tooth replacement process that can help reduce stress on the jaw, fill in spaced caused by missing teeth, and help maintain facial structure characteristics. Fixed bridges are permanently cemented to the existing teeth while removable bridges can be easily removed and cleaned at home.
Crowns have a variety of dental applications including strengthening and improving tooth shape, size or color, supporting broken or weak teeth or those with large fillings. They offer the patient a properly contoured surface for stained, misshapen, or otherwise abnormal teeth; and aid in the implantation of bridges and other implants.
Advanced DDS offers single-visit custom crowns and onlays using CEREC 3D CAD/CAM technology. Read more.
Crown before-and-after (above): Some treatments, such as that pictured, are more complex in nature, so it requires a careful consideration of treatment type to offer the best restorative result. Here the teeth had both spaces between them as well as underlying bone loss due to periodontal disease. Placing crowns on the front four teeth and connecting them together allowed us to improve the smile along with reinforcing the teeth.
